Oboe
The oboe is a type of double reed woodwind instrument that looks similar to a clarinet. Oboes are usually made of wood, but may also be made of synthetic materials, such as plastic, resin, or hybrid composites. The oboe is played in the treble or soprano range. This instrument requires good finger dexterity and fine motor skills. Sound is produced by blowing into a double reed at a sufficient air pressure, causing it to vibrate with the air column.
